Strips 967-1050 (February 16, 1942 to May 23, 1942)
After accidentally failing an army physical while trying to enlist to help the war
effort, Superman addresses Congress to let them know he will be staying on the
homefront to prevent sabotage. In his first case, Superman confronts the Leer,
a head of axis espionage.
