Strips 2973-3008 (July 5, 1948 to August 14, 1948)
Clark finds out that he has inherited one million dollars and thirty-nine cents. As Perry White has a policy that keeps people off the payroll who don't need the job, Clark finds himself out of a job. Since being a reporter means more to him than money, how will Clark get rid of his inheritance without raising suspicions?
Note: On July 24, 1948, Wayne Boring gets billing instead of Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster.
