The eccentric rural inventor, postmaster, and telegrapher, Horatio Hook, has invented the Hook-ray machine, which produces an electronic ray capable of immobilizing all living things. However, when criminals steal the devise, Hook goes into detective mode to figure out what they are up to. Will Horatio Hook and Superman be able to stop the criminals?
