Strips 4671-4748 (December 7, 1953 to March 6, 1954)
The army sends Superman off to retrieve a rocket, not knowing that its deadly radiation could potentially harm Superman. When the rocket accidentally explodes, Superman is bathed in radiation and soon finds himself powerless. However, Superman feels that he must hide his weakness, and shows up to the planed fund benefit at the Planet. Without impenetrable skin, what will happen when they fire real bullets at Superman during the benefit performance?
