Strips 5529-5588 (September 3, 1956 to November 10, 1956)
Arthur Randall, and old friend of Perry White, calls up the Daily Planet with an "out of this world" story, but then quickly changes his mind. Soon afterwards a news story comes out that Randall is drilling for oil on the edge of Metropolis, where there is no oil. Furthermore, the chief financier is an international mystery man named August D'Urczy who no one had heard of before last month. When he strikes oil, will Clark Kent be able to discover the secret of Randall and D'Urczy?
