Strips 104-118 (October 26, 1941 to February 1, 1942)
When a truck with a dead man at the wheel almost collides with the car driven by Clark Kent, they find that this is only one of a series of similar accidents occurring in Metropolis. Lois and Clark learn that these were trucks from the Peerless Trucking line, and begin an investigation. When Clark discovers a note demanding the sale of the trucking line, will he be able to find the blackmailer before more accidents occur?
