As the sole survivor of the distant planet Krypton, Clark Kent grows up on Earth to develop amazing powers. In order to help the helpless and oppressed, he developed the persona of Superman. With the onset of World War II, Superman has become a champion of democracy and now lends his powers to the American war effort.
