Strips 137-151 (June 14, 1942 to September 20, 1942)
Lois and Clark take a tour of the motor transport base Holabird in anticipation of the army's introduction of a giant-sized new truck named the Superman. However, when the truck fails to arrive by train, Superman suspects that the truck has been hijacked. Will Superman be able to prevent the attempt to destroy the Superman truck?
Notes: First time in the Sunday strip Superman utters "Up - Up--And Awa-aay!" (#149).
