As infant is sent from the planet Krypton to Earth in a space ship, Clark Kent matures to realize his other-worldly heritage has granted him superhuman powers on Earth. He decides to become a reporter to enable him to be on time to help others, and uses the guise of Superman to become a champion of the oppressed.
Notes: This episode was a "pick-up" strip, and was the first episode run when other Sunday papers decided to carry the Superman strips. It has been documented as appearing in the Des Moines Register on March 3, 1940, but its earliest use has yet to be pinpointed.
