Superman runs into another request for assistance through his "Superman's Service for Servicemen." Mary Starr writes to Superman from the WAC barracks outside of Metropolis, and asks him to check in on her boyfriend Bob Martin in the South Pacific whom she heard has a new girlfriend. When it becomes revealed that Lily Field, a "mutual friend" of both Bob and Mary, is behind the lies, will Superman be able to straighten out the romantic tangle?
