Strips 214-215 (December 5, 1943 to December 12, 1943)
Lt. Dave Taylor, a fighter pilot deployed in northwest Africa, requests that Superman's Service for Servicemen help him get home in time for the birth of his child. However, when Superman answers his letter, he learns that Taylor never made it back from his last mission, and is presumed lost in mountainous country. Will Superman be able to find him and bring him home in time?
