Strips 317-325 (November 25, 1945 to January 20, 1946)
Jor-El, a scientist on the doomed planet of Krypton, sends his infant to Earth in a rocketship. He is found by the Kents, and adopted as their own child. Clark Kent matures to find himself in possession of great physical powers. Disguised as Superman, he uses his powers on the side of right and justice.
