Lois and Clark are assigned to cover the Metropolis opening of the Warnum and Wailey Circus. At the circus is Sadface, "The Unhappiest Clown in the World," who is too in love with Carlotta, the trapeze artist. When Carlotta agrees to marry Sadface if he performs a series of death-defying stunts, will Superman be able to help?
